NOTE: A legible copy of one of the above documents may be accepted if the copy contains a statement cer.fying that it is an exact and true copy of the original and is signed by the player's parent or legal guardian. 5.00 Team Sponsors 5.01 No firm or company who’s adver.sing primarily promotes the sale or use of alcoholic beverages or tobacco products, including vaping devices and e- cigaretes, shall be permited as a sponsor of the DYS program, either locally or na.onally. Such adver.sing shall not be displayed in connec.on with the DYS program. 6.00 Conduct and Sportsmanship 6.01 Members of a team shall not ride, kid, heckle, ridicule, or otherwise engage in conduct that, in the judgment of the umpire, distracts the opposing team. A player shall not throw a bat, helmet, or other equipment in anger, frustra.on, or disgust. PENALTY: The offending player, manager, or coach shall be removed from the game. Managers and coaches shall also be removed from the dugout for the remainder of the game. 6.02 Local leagues, and the Tournament Director during tournament play, shall have the authority to prohibit the use of noisemakers. 6.03 The use or possession of any alcoholic beverage or tobacco product, including vaping devices and e-cigaretes, within the confines of the playing field, dugout, or bench by any manager, coach, player, umpire, or league official is prohibited. PENALTY: The offending manager, coach, player, umpire, or league official shall be removed from the game and from the dugout or playing area. 6.04 Local leagues, and the Tournament Director during tournament play, shall have the authority, as permited by applicable local and state law, to remove or prohibit from league playing facili.es any spectator who flagrantly displays unsportsmanlike conduct, uses profanity, or threatens physical harm to an umpire, player, manager, coach, league official, or other par.cipant. This authority shall apply to all scheduled Regular-season and tournament games conducted at the league's playing facili.es. 11
